Hi all,

I have just updated my Galaxy S3 to Jellybean 4.1.1 via Telecom.
I can't find any option to enable split screen. Does anyone know
if this feature is enabled on this update?

On the Note 2, holding the back key brings up the task pane which allows the split.

I have a stock standard S3 (NZ purchased and not jail broken), and ran the inbuilt software update.

Regards,

Dave

No, the latest update doesn't support multi window.  I think that is 4.1.2. And will most likely be some time away.

Thanks for that. I was starting to grow a few more grey hairs over this.

Slightly off-topic, is there anything "interesting" about the 4.1.1 upgrading from 4.0.4?

So far all I've found is the new animation when opening folders.

Dave.

I've had 4.1.1 on my phone for a while now (custom rom) so can't even remember what new features it gave me. It is a lot smoother to use though.

Will be loading a custom 4.1.2 on this weekend I think.

Google Now. Hold down the home button then press the Goggle icon at the bottom when the recent apps list appears.
