I really want to see the back or the tablet in the dock. Can't even tell if it goes landscape or portrait from that photo. Landscape with the connector on the side maybe?

The blurb about the stand says that the "micro USB port in the Nexus 7 Dock makes charging easy" so I would assume that it will only take the tablet in the orientation required to keep it charging whilst docked. Portrait if the connector is at the bottom...

I thought it would use the connector on the left hand side of the nexus 7?
(4 copper dots on the left outer edge, suggest the device will lay flat in the dock / landscape.)

I guess that is also why they have the magnetic sensor down there - to know when in dock or not - which is the smart case-like functionality works with a magnet.

A bit annoying to dock if you have it in an case
