Has anyone yet purchased a Nexus 10 thru the Playstore? Interested in getting one but 800-900 from local sources is a bit steep. If you got one, what was the final cost?
Thanks.

Yep I got one a couple of months back.

Used VPN and opened a USA Google account. Then used You Shop to get it delivered - you can use You Shop's address as your credit card's billing address.

Can't remember final cost but after duty and GST etc I think it was around the NZD700.00 mark?

Thanks. Was that for the 16 or 32 model? Any problems? I heard that light bleed and rebooting were issues

Mine was a 32GB. No issues with rebooting or light bleed.

Only issue I had is that one of the tamper stickers had be broken.
According to searches on Google it was quite common for people to receive their tablets direct from Google to have one or both of the tamper stickers damaged. Some people got quite worked up about it, and fair enough I suppose, although mine was in perfect condition so didn't worry me.

Nice. How do you rate the device overall?

Really good! It's responsive, looks good and easy to use. Although this is my first tablet and haven't been hands on with any other ones so can't compare to others.

I'm just really glad i held off getting the ASUS 7" as I think it will be too small.

Just picked one up from Expert Infotech. Pretty impressed so far.

Any thoughts on the best launcher for this device? I have Bazooka for my nexus 4 but not compatible with the tablet?

Batwing: http://einfo.co.nz/shop/google-nexus-32gb-101wifi-black-p-27606.html

 Seems legit.

Hmm it says it's a Nexus 7 then it says it's 10.1". There's a bit of a difference between a Nexus 7" and a Nexus 10"

If it is a proper Nexus 10 then that's a really good price. Then again, Expert Infotech alway seem to have really good pricing.

Haha yeah, didn't actually think it was legit because it's 32GB model for much cheaper than the 16 - but they did list the specs of the Nexus 10 and not the 7 (which at that price it would be the 7).

Having some issues with swiping on the 4.2.2 keyboard. Sometimes when entering url addresses it does not insert a space between words.
Anyone else see that?
