Sooooo, who other than NZTechFreak and I will be getting an ASUS Padfone Infinity?

I held off on the previous 2 versions after being so very very close to buying the original but 3rd time lucky they appear to have ticked all the boxes!

Available in Taiwan from the 15th apparently, the UK/Europe to follow soon after.

It's a shame it's not 850MHz 3G else I'd have one in a heartbeat, hopefully they release it with 850 eventually.

Guys.

Without skoping through the spec links, what's great about these units? In your words gentlemen. I thought i just bought one of the best units (Well, the fleet model not the the flagship) currently out there, The GN2. Are these models better?

Better is dependant on your needs.

Full HD screen on both, quad core and 2GB ram, one SIM card, choice of big screen or small screen as required, no need to keep data/apps on 2 devices in sync, station charges phone when out and about, the list goes on.

Scott

Can you buy an extra pad? one for the office without the extra handset? I'm a contractor so, i see life through mobility issues as well as wear and tear in rugged environments. Pads are just starting to be used on building sites but you still have a problem with having to keep them in the van. Rather than hauling one pad around all the time, why not jump the phone around instead? What do you think?

What's the price on those Scott?

This is quite a powerful little beast, What's the gpu like if this isn't a new unit being shipped with it? I've only watched the vid Scott put up. I like the 1080 both HD screens, nice, very nice.
