As per the subject\, any suggestions for a good app available to remote control Android tablets?

Something like LogMein but I want to remote control the tablet, not the other way around.

Something like AirDroid? Developed by Sand Studio. Not sure if it's what you're after.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

It would be great, but "Before start, please make sure the Android device and computer are connected to the same network. "

I am thinking of someone on a remote network.

TeamViewer might do it from memory. I'm pretty sure I could control my phone from my laptop anyway.

I think TeamViewer only allows remote viewing of Desktop PC's from the tablet and not the other way around.

I'm interested in this too but I think this is a limitation of Android - since Ive not found anything like SOTI (from the windows mobile days) for Android. As far as I understand it the "security" risk of allowing screen streaming is perceived to be too great so Android does not do it. For a long time you had to root your device to take screenshots too.

AirDroid only has limited functionality (eg you can send texts or control music) but I dont think it has any ability to see the screen remotely.

I have contacted SOTI... One of their main guys was a Windows Mobile MVP back in the days at same time as myself.

"Remotely control your Samsung mobile device with original Samsung firmware from your computer with the free TeamViewer QuickSupport app"

My parents-in-law have an ASUS...

Thanks Android, for being such a fragmented space.

Interesting as well, but non-rooted devices require pluging to a PC via USB...
