Read that the Samsung Galaxy note has turned MEGA!!!

I have a question - would it fit in your pockets (those of you happily using the Note 2) ?

I'm thinking it won't fit in my pocket!

Although (cyber) surfing would be ... a dream

There's still a bit of breathing room in my pocket for a bit more screen I rekon. I'd get it. Although, only 720P?

I have the Note 2 at the moment. That fits fine in my pockets. I think the Galaxy Mega 6.3 would fit too, but it would be too big to use one handed though (I can use the Note in one hand if need be)

I think 6.3 is too big. Wouldn't want anything with a bigger footprint than the Note 2, but if they could fit a bigger screen in the same frame that would be all good. The 5.8 MAY be ok, will have to look at one.

Too big, but why not 1080 resolution?

That is exactly what people said when Note was first advertised.

More and more thing can be done with phone nowadays. Slightly bigger screen is quite useful.

Wouldn't a Bluetooth headset solve that problem?

If he cares about how strangers perceive him, I doubt he'll use a bluetooth headset

Too small. I think 6.5 inches is the sweet spot for a phone screen.

I try not to talk on the phone in anycase. A 7" tablet fits in most jeans pockets with a bit of persuasion, so I think this would be fine. but 720p... ugh. Bring on a QHD panel for them ;)

probably a cost - benefit thing ...

probably thinks most money to be made from a 5 incher

probably thinks people who wants the large phone will buy regardless of full HD vs HD screen - and I think they're right on that balance

5" my sweet spot

Good for old people with shot eyesight that refuse to do anything about it too. But I need more PPI - that would work out about the same as the SGS2 which IMO is about as low as I could take
