Looking at getting one of these http://www.warehousestationery.co.nz/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/WSL-B2C-Site/en_NZ/-/NZD/ViewOfferDetail-Product?ProductRef=214404@WSL-B2C seems like a pretty sharp price, but I cant seem to find anything on the web about this device, apart from the thomson-electronics website, which is not very useful, has anyone got one of these like to comment on what they are like, the specs look good for the price.

Do you know the specific model number as it looks like it might be this one

Went and took a look out of curiosity.

Looks like a very cheap build - all plastic etc. Compared it to the HP Slate ($229?) and no comparison in terms of build ie the HP is miles better.

Performance wise there was no network at the store I visited so I couldn't check the maps app out. I did some typing in the Word To Go app and it was a bit sluggish.

I'd say save your money and buy the HP or save a bit more and get a Galaxy Tab or Nexus 7.

Just Laptops sell the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for $239. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it.
Is much better than the el cheapo Chinese one I already had.
