Anyone received the new Maps yet?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Can you check something? When you save offline maps, does it save all zoom levels or just the level you are on?
Thanks.

They have removed offline maps from the menus, but using the 'ok maps' workaround, I could cache about half of Auckland, and zoom right in.

They also seem to have removed the old labs features like distance measuring.

I got it a couple days ago on my Galaxy Note II, my wife still hasn't got it on her Galaxy S IV.

They have added the feature back, if you hit the search bar then scroll down there is a button at the bottom. And just tested it and all view levels are working with no connection

Gooseybhai: Yep, Xperia S on JB.

edit: naturally wanted my gps on but then insisted I switch on wifi for better performance and asked me many times... and its still asking.   No menu items when I hit the traditional andriod key (a bit annoying). I'll have to play a bit more as I magically found the menu somehow as an icon within the maps bottom left corner and it looked like I had to scroll the screen to that side to see it.

so far its slow and groggy and the prompts to turn on wi fi aint helping.

Updated fine on my Note 2, No issues so far, Runs smoothly without any issues, Slightly counter-intuitive however fairly easy to locate what I'm looking for and it's usually followed by an "Oh, makes sense"
