Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has an MK808B Android TV stick?

I'm interested in buying one with the sole purpose of using it for the NFL Gamepass app.

Would love to hear feedback on if MK808B runs the NFL Gamepass app well and what the quality of the picture is like on a big TV.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry no help here, but I'm interested for a similar reason, running the premier league pass app when it comes out.

About to receive (hopefully!) a MK802IV which was about $70US - I'll see if I can test this and let you know.

Awesome thanks, I look forward to your tests :-)

Looking at the specs of the MK802IV it should play perfectly fine, be interested to know what the picture quality is like though.

Where did you buy it?

Geekbuying - MK802IV

actually $79USD not $70.  But for the specs it's not bad.

I bought the MK808B with the Air mouse from Aliexpress. Works great. I installed XBMC for streaming from the net. No more watching repeats on TVNZ most nights.

So I got my MK802IV.

It works well and is easy to use.  It powers off the USB port on my TV which is good.

The NFL Game Pass app runs ok-ish.  I had to side load it as I couldn't download it from the app store.  It runs at 1600kbps and the picture looks better than SD but not HD.  The main problem is the frame rate it seems to be running at around 20ish frames per second which is a pain.  The drop in frame rate is noticable, the game is still watchable but it's frustrating with the dropped frames.

I might try an external power source and see if that makes a difference but I think I'm clutching at straws.

Although not one of these models my Android stick I find to be average at best. To the point where I'd actually rather plug my laptop into the tv in the lounge and just stream through this way.

Then again I am also a big fan of HTPC and been runnng one for well over 5 years and my Android stick just sits plugged in to my tv getting no use.

here is a link to the Android stick forum on XDA, I haven't put a specific thread in as there are several that will cover some of the questions in here.
