I just noticed that yet another Samsung bloat app on my SGS3 asked for an update (which I won't bother with) but take a look at the reviews for it they're hilarious:

The 'solar charger' apps have my favourite reviews. The divide between the 'Saved my life, saved my dog's life, helped me get a new career & win the lottery' reviews vs. the 'I don't understand why everyone is giving this five stars, it doesn't work and made fun of me' ones is fantastic. Here's one.

Samsung Push Service is the framework Samsung send push notifications through (Appropriately enough). Things like their ChatOn service and system updates and the like. From memory I think it also links to the 'BadgeProvider' that pops the little badge counters on the phone/messaging/Facebook apps. Basically a little service that runs in the background and dishes out data to whichever part of the OS Samsung thinks needs it on demand. Dunno why it needs such frequent updating tho', but I'm not complaining, I'm an update junkie. :D
