While I can't find too many other details of what Android 4.4 will herald at least we know it is going to be called 'Kitkat'.

What do you want to see in it?

Nestle are on board with the name, and are producing something like 50-million Android-branded Kitkat wrappers as part of the promotion.

I want to see 4.3 on my HTC One. And I want to see new devices that actually come with new OS (yes, I know a new device planning starts 18 months before launch, but still)...

FYI for anyone who didn't notice, the new LG Nexus 5 was leaked out in the Kitkat statue video.

It'll almost certainly be based on the LG G2.

Damn, that is some good advertising right there.  Got quite a few smiles from me looking through it.

I think it was the American rep who noted that end of September will be when the update will roll out - there is always installing the untouched ROM which is used on the HTC One 'Google Edition' but it does lack some of the cool niceties on the HTC One 'Sense' version.

That is still reliant on the 4.4 update rolling out for the One in a timely manner as it is independent of the Nexus range, that said I would be quietly confident it shouldn't be too far behind

I hope they update the UI design. The dark android design is looking very dated now and out of sync with the flat and lighter design of the wider Google product suite.

I'd like to see a flat design similar to the way Apple has gone (But less of the crazy colours)
