Does anyone have a Motorola Moto X in NZ? Whats your thoughts on it?

What did it cost you to get it in?

Another question for the more technical among you, what are the networks that it supports?

It supports the following frequencies (GSM Arena)

2G Network
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - all versions
CDMA 800 / 1900 - for Verizon, Sprint

3G Network

HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T, Verizon
CDMA2000 1xEV-DO - for Verizon
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - for Sprint

4G Network
LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T   LTE 700 MHz Class 13 - for Verizon
LTE 1900 - for Sprint

But i'm struggling to tie those in with the information from the telcos.

I've found the following sites from each of the carriers, but I'm still confused about the HSDPA/UMTS/WCDMA options and how important they are, I assume very.

http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/compatiblemobiles
http://www.telecom.co.nz/mobile/mobile/ournetwork/phonecompatibility/
http://community.vodafone.co.nz/t5/Mobile-broadband/New-Mobile-coverage/td-p/1872

Is there an easier site to use to work it out?

*IF* those details are correct then it'll work on all three networks. However, GSM Arena has a history of grouping several different models together into a single page so it's possible that you'll need a specific model for NZ.

The AT&T version will work here for 3G. But unlikely for LTE as the US uses different bands.

Thanks for your advice, do you know of any better sites to find out this information?

already wasted whole month on this phone. just want to get a yellow back and black front but motomaker.com keeps cancelling my order. contacted their support they say their system automatically cancels order made with credit card not in the US. So I asked my friend who's living in the US to help me get one. He tried 3 orders with 3 different US credit card and 3 different US addresses but all got canceled. He called up Motorola and they say will get someone to call him back but never did. So I guess their system also automatically cancels order that selected 'No Contract' price.

Anyway, I ordered a black one on ebay and should arrive next week(hopefully). all the AT&T ones will work in NZ just like the normal 3G phones. but for AT&T ones you have to unlock it(yes, even with the full price and no contract option). If you bought the phone at full price in AT&T, you can just call them and ask them to give you the unlock code. but sadly my friend went to AT&T and they were refuse to sell the phone without contract now. that's why I end up with ebay...
