Had a mass of app updates (20ish) and something play store updated as well today, now the phone is lagging to the extreme, anyone else seen any issues with their one X over the last couple of days? Am probably going to factory reset it _again_ tomorrow if it doesnt start to behave. Not updated any apps for about 3 days on it so it could have been anything in that timeframe that is doing it.

Basically its taking up to 45 seconds to light up from pressing the power button, then freezing when I drag the ring up to unlock for about hte same, and then I cant do my unlock pattern because it turns the screen off before it even recognizes any of the pattern.

This sounds like a cpu governor problem. Have you used anything that changes clock speeds or governor?

If not, and if you have root, use one to change the governor and/or the min cpu speed.

No, not installed anything like that at all. I turned it off and on about 3 times last night and just left it locked up and it was somewhat more responsive but quite warm this morning. Has run flat with no use already so somethings maxing it out or something. Will hard reset it tonight and see what happens.

I left it on charge for ages while it was warm and complaining that the charger couldn't provide enough current and when I got back it was full and responsive, so I can only assume it was some app going totally crazy for a while.
