http://www.sammobile.com/2013/10/17/samsung-galaxy-s4-lte-gt-i9505-receives-official-android-4-3-update/
Finally released! We will probably have to wait a month or so before we get it in NZ but cool eh.   A telecom rep told me he had a new update installed on his phone 'for testing' He said it enabled 4G as their current version has it disabled. Im wondering if this was 4.3 aswell.

Heard it also enables use of the Galaxy Gear   Cant wait!

Update: It also includes Samsung Knox and the Knox bootloader. This might be bad for people who like to root/custom roms https://plus.google.com/+Chainfire/posts/ZKuMQ3fNzuN

As above, I think the 4G unlock update is not 4.3...

Yeah probably... will probably be not much time between that and the 4.3 update though

if I have a non telecom S4 that has successfully used LTE with another carrier -

if I flashed an older version of telecom Modem, will I be able to use LTE on telecom and Vodafone?

sorry if it's a bit messy\

the question relates to whether the telecom baseband(modem) file has anything to do with whether my phone can do LTE or not

I have no idea why you would want to do that..

But all 3 carriers appear to have the same I9505XXUBMG4 MODEM

I assume it is disabled in the CSC

Thats the other thing.. I hear telecom is ending Tworld. I hope that means that they stop renaming the browser and changing the icon. Its annoying

Also expecting a pretty new boot animation for the Telecom s4 to match their new branding. Although I dont know why Telecom do this as other carriers have the normal samsung animaton?

Telecom seem to regard an APN profile push as an update, or at least this is the impression I got from 2different staff members in stores. This is probably all he has.

Knox has already been bypassed on the Note 3, I imagine the same will be available for the S4, probably already.

Do you know what in the APN you change?

There are stock 4.3 roms with knox removed (app, framework and bootloader) so these ones would be the ones to go for if you want root/custom recoveries.

Personally I would still hold off for a while until Chainfire etc have had a chance to get their hands on it.
