My wife's Samsung SIII (yes i bought a S4 and gave her my SIII, generous huh?) keeps disconnecting from 2 Degrees. The connectivity symbol goes to a circle with a line thru it, indicating no signal. Texts and phone calls then don't come or go, nor does 3G data. It can take a while to notice this. It seems to take a restart to connect again. it is happening about once a day, and was happening when I used it too. I thought when I reset it to factory when I gave it to my wife that whatever bug it had might go away, but it hasn't. It doesn't seem to be a signal strength issue as everyone else in our household is on 2 degrees and has no such problem. It is hard to pick up when this is happening but it seems to coincide with long periods of inactivity, like overnight.

Has anyone seen any issues like this? Or able to offer any insight.

Many thanks.

Try locking it to 2g or 3g only and see what happens.

Not an expert on this, but I was with 2D for a while and my Atrix 2 (but does lack the 900mhz I think) was doing the same, so changing it to 2g or 3g seemed to fix it, 2g signal was good but 3g poor. Since changing to Telecom recently have not had this problem anymore.

It is not a specifically 2degrees model, I bought it from ummmm somewhere on the intarwebs.

I have set it to 2 g and will see what happens in the next day or so.
