Hi guys
I am installing a touchwiz based 4.3 rom and it suggesting that i install Chinese mk6 modem, any problem installing with that?

Though i installed few custom roms before but modem part i haven't figured out yet. As per reading on xda this modem seems to have fixes lot of touchwiz 4.3 issues.
I wonder if this modem relevant to us here and do i loose network?
Thanks for this advise.
Btw am on galaxy s3

I just installed the MK6 Open Europe (OXA) ROM and have no network issues at all. In fact the phone is running great.
Before flashing MK6, I made sure that I backed up my /efs folder - just in-case.

I've never just installed the modem separately too but I think you just add the modem file to CP in Odin v3.09.

Hi thanks for the reply. I found a flash able zip on xda so planning to flash that.

Do you know it would be safe to do it? If you don't mind can you share how you flashed it? Thanks again.

The ROM and instructions I used are here. - first post :)

I'm not sure what zip you have so I can't say if it is safe, but the MK6 ROM I used above is working perfectly for me. I used the leaked version but I now see that the Official 4.3 MK6 has started rolling out so I would go for one of those.
