I have been trying to set up A Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to print to a Canon Pixma printer. By using the Pixma app in the Play store I can get it to print photos from the gallery or documents but when I try to print a webpage from Chrome or an email from the google email app it tells me it can only print to a Samsung printer !!
Has Samsung hijacked the google apps in some way?
Is there a way around this so I can print webpages and emails?
Thanks.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

I haven't looked at the Pixma app so can't comment, but have a look at Google Cloud Print. We're having to use that to print from a Chromebook. Can also print from Android devices.

Did you search the forums? I had the same thing with my galaxy tab. No way around it unfortunately.

BTW we have a brother wireless printer. Same issue. Air print on the ipad works way better.
