I am planning to buy a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact (D5503) from a NZ parallel importer. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences that they could share.

thanks

have purchase a couple phones off them. No problems at all. They have a store located in Auckland if you live up there

Definitely recommend these people as well. Have purchased 3 phones from them myself, and recommended a friend do the same too. All of these phones were exactly what I expected. I live in Auckland so always picked up in the store, but I believe they ship the phones. Would recommend visiting though as they let you see the phone you'll get before paying.

Only downside was that they charge a surcharge for credit cards. But easily avoidable with normal eftpos.

To be shipped to Wellington.

So, how did it go? I ordered the same phone from einfo on Saturday. They said by email on Friday that they had stock so I hope to get it this week.

I'm also in Wellington - I was going to go to DigiParallel as they have a shop in Lower Hutt but they don't know when they'll get it in.

Ok. Sorry for the delay.
I ordered the device on the morning of Saturday 08 March from Expert Infotech.
Stock was confirmed later that day by email.
I requested a bank transfer evening Sat 08 March.
Transfer happened on evening of Mon 10 March. (Next working day)
I was notified by email that it had shipped on Tue 11 March.
Arrived Wed 12 March.
Goods as expected. Very happy.
