Hi all

I have an HTC One X that I have unlocked, rooted and flashed CyanogenMod.
Since I did this the GPS has stopped working. I have googled through and through but I can not fix the problem no matter what I try.
They talk about requiring an HBoot version higher than 1.28 which I have done, I have installed 1.34 on the phone.
It's gone through various CyanogenMod upgrades since I originally installed but still no luck. It currently has CM10.2 on it but when I first flashed CM it was an earlier version, possibly 10.0 but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Has anyone had issues like this before?

I have been thinking about wiping the whole device and essentially starting from scratch to see if that fixes it. Of course that removes all data so I want that to be the last option but at this point I'm not sure what else to do.

Get TitaniumBackup, worth paying the $7ish for the pro key as well. Backup all your data (copy it to your PC before wiping the phone) , it can also make a recovery flashable version of itself for post clean install.

Also get the M4 snapshot release of CM11. Clean install is your best bet to get things working.

The best place to get support for CM is on the device's CM thread on XDA. There will be hundreds of people (probably including the CM device maintainers) who will be able to give you help, rather than the handful of people here.

If you do want to see if a full wipe helps, boot into your custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, etc) and make a backup first. This will let you restore everything back to how it was in the wipe doesn't end up working.

I'll also second the comment about Titanium Backup. It's invaluable when switching between ROMs, or just as a scheduled backup in case things go screwy.
