Hi there,

First time poster.
Sorry if this thread has already been answered or i'm in the wrong forum.

I store all my music and photos on the SD card which you can still access through the file manager and can still do hwat you normally do however it doesn't show up in the phone gallery etc.

He did this before but came right after a few months.
I've tried a lot of stuff on the net without success.

If someone could suggest a way to rectify this I would be most grateful.

If the media scanner has been picking up files, but isn't any more, the first thing I'd check is whether there are any files called ".nomedia" on the card. If a file with this name is present in a folder, the media scanner will not report any files in that folder or its subfolders. If you find one where it shouldn't be, delete it, then eject and re-insert the card in order to force the media scanner to run.

I'd also install a good gallery app like Quickpik instead of the stock one...

Thanks everyone,

lucky 2 degrees finally upgraded to jellybean 4.3 and everything went back to normal.
Will try that if I have anymore problems :)
