The very first official 4.4 firmware release for the I9505 came out in the last week of Feb. This needs to be tested by every telco before each one makes available on phones they've sold to their customers. I would guess that Samsung are working their way through the bigger markets first and may take another couple of months before the local networks get it for testing.

Is this the first step in Telco approval "Checkout how the Nexus goes for a few months"?
