Google is releasing docs and sheets  and slides as standalone apks on the play store. Not sure why they're fragmenting rather than integrating in to Quickoffice.There will now be now offline editing support to replace the online editing the drive allowed.

Interesting move, and quite understandable when Microsoft is pushing Office Mobile. Office Mobile is really quite good. Have only had a brief tinker with the new Docs app, but I doubt I'll spend much time with it myself when web-based Word + Onedrive + Office Mobile meet all my current word processing needs.
