Maybe add this to the Bargains and Deals thread.  I think a few people would be interested.

There won't be a Nexus 6, it's getting rebooted/rebranded to Android Silver which sounds like pure android on multiple vendors devices (windows 8 phone style), isn't expected till next year.

So presumably just the regular over time price drop and stock clearing.

Just checked the Play Store here in AU, and they are still at the same price - so doesn't look like a Google initiated price drop.

And the NZ price is still a premium over the Google price anyway.

I recently moved from N5 to HTC M8.

N5 is a very very capable phone for it's price. M8 is nice - but to be honest I can't justify the price. Nexus 5 was lighter / smaller size / I liked its stock mail app.
The vanilla UI is prettier too. Not a bad price.

The local 2degrees store had run out of stock and said they can't order anymore as it's "end of line". Though if other 2degrees stores have stock, they can get them couriered to you.

So based on that conversation this week - I'd say it's stock clearing time.
