Hey,

so, I got the Gear Fit the other day, it was a gift - but it was on my Wishlist so Im pretty happy! cool

enjoying it so far, but id like to tune in with others that have a Gear Fit also, Any tips, tricks, suggestions, issues......

It may only have basic features, but its what I wanted, a basic watch with health features wrapped in a smart package.

Ive managed to find an array of apps in the play store that work great with it....

Gear Fit Calculator
Gear Fit Phone (see incoming calls, answer/reject calls with your phone nearby)
Gear Fit Calendar
Gear Fit Launcher (launch any apps you set up in on your phone from the fit)
Gear Fit Flashlight
Watch Styler for Gear Fit - edit any photos or pics for your wallpaper
Gear Fit Quick Settings - access your phones quick settings for wifi, 3g, volume, sync, brightness, hotspot & view battery life
Gear Fit Share - share text copied from your phone to your Gear Fit
Gear Fit Water Reminder

So although Samsung didnt have this gadget in mind for these features, it handles them all fine, found that the first connection to the Fit can be slow, but after that its ok.

Everythings pretty awesome so far, bought a couple new coloured straps for it from Samsung NZ, were discounted lower than anywhere else with free shipping.

So, post away!

Endomondo works as well. Strava also used to, but I don't think it does any more.

I've moved to my Gear Live from the Fit, although I still use it when I need the countdown timer function... the Live hasn't got one of those :(
