Hi Guys
just wondering if any of you using AOSP roms on LG G2 ?

I have been using slimkat but suddenly lost ability to send SMS! Every time I send I get message saying unable to send and try again. I thought dirty flashes caused the issue so I clean installed ROM ,v6.9, clean install and no user apps installed but still no luck. I thought I'd try another aosp ROM but issue is same !!!
I tried vanir,AICP BTW. All clean flash and no user apps installed. This sort of bugging why suddenly this started happening.

I had revert back to stock Roms, and g3 ported Roms and they work just fine. Any advise ? Thanks
BTW I have d802 on 2degrees. I tried twrp 2.7.1 from dr87,drgravy's 2.8.1 and philz.

EDIT: I used stock messaging app but i tried hangouts as well and with same result.

Check your SMSC. Should be set to +64220227672 for 2degrees.

Can you use Hangouts instead of Messaging?

Yes, I already tried that but with same results. This really puzzling me what actually causing this. I flashed Roms many time with no issues but this is weird.

Update: only way i could send sms is, using go sms pro which has option to set SMSC number under its settings. this is strange and would really love to solve this mystery though.

I used to enjoy installing Custom ROMs.

These days I find it's just easier to slowly pull a single fingernail off with pliers, or put a few tacks in my shoes before I head to work.  Not enough to be really painful or annoying, but difficult enough that it makes it much hard to get basic tasks done.

Of course I do miss spending the better part of 3 weeks tuning my CPU voltages and speeds so I can convince myself that this really is so much faster and debloated! So much bloat in these apps that don't run or use any memory unless I'm actively running them. BLOAT!

I wonder if this stock ROM from 3 years ago can still send a.... yup! It can. It can still send a text.

Technology ey?

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.
