I was offered a security policy update which I declined

Not sure whether yours was that

Android L can't be 150m - is your phone all white and iossy (Android L)?

Any good reason? Security updates exist for a reason.

Presso: Screen did say it was a firmware update

Good move. Perhaps an update that is a pre-requisite for things coming later?

umm .. it normally won't install bcos mine is rooted. so I save time by declining. I could unroot then install then re-root, but I think i'll just wait for my Telco to update to L (umm ... sept next year??!!) then i'll flash the stock L and then root again

Was definitely a firmware update and not security , Perhaps I have jumped to 4.4.2 , cannot for the life of me remember what I was on before.

My i9506 (Spark) has an update too. Not too big. 18Mb or so. Currently saying Android is upgrading... Should have made a note of version beforehand.

Went in to see version and where it had previously stated Device Status Official, it now said Custom! Wandered around, came back and now it's Official again.

mine was 151.72mb , I know because it took 1/2 hour to download it before upgrading.
