I have an LG Optimus One P500 which I want to upgrade beyond 2.3.3

I tried Kingo Root but despite it saying the handset is supported it stated unsupported device

I tried Kingo root as apparently unlike others it is malware free ?

Any other suggestions ?

Gingerbreak failed as did z4root but I managed to do it with superonelick laughing

Now onto upgrading to Lollipop or kitkat !
