so I got a OnePlus One too

I'm amazed at how bad this thing is.  Is anyone else having the issues mentioned below?  Maybe I have a dud.

Firstly it is fully patched with latest over the air updates.

Touch screen seems unresponsive at times:

Reasonably often when I go to put my pin on the lock screen, nothing will happen.  Turn off screen and turn it back on then it will work.
Other times I will pull it out of my pocket and the touch screen will go nuts, hitting the number 3 or 9 over and over and over again, I can see there and watch it continually registering button presses.

Also at least once a day, standard apps on it like dialer or mail or settings will fault/crash and restart and send a crash report off to Google

Is the hardware buggy?  Is CyanogenMod buggy?  does it know how I work for?  What is going on!

Thanks
Nathan

Have just had a Co-worker sell his One+1 and go to a z3 because of all the bugs he was having with his.

I would say it's most likely the combination of bad support (driver wise) from the hardware vendors and crappy intergration with Cyanogenmod. Have had more stable CM running on a samsung than what I've heard of the One+1

Hey Nathan.

Turn off adaptive backlighting in display settings. Sorted.

Enjoy!

Cheers Matt.

I would say it's their version of CM that's faulty RMA it and if the new one does the same then call it quits and buy a decent phone from a manufacturer that's had plenty of experience building phones

Hey Barron. Welcome to Geekzone. I should have another invite in the next day or so as Oneplus conducted a survey which had an invite attached. I will PM you if I get one.

Cheers, Matt.

Nathan. How did turning off the ambient backlighting go for you?

Cheers, Matt.
