Hey all,

I'm wanting to buy a Samsung Galaxy S5 - but before I do I just have a few really noob questions:
I already have a phone on the XT network - I can just chuck the sim card from the XT phone into the S5 and it'll work right away?
Anyone know of any good deals going for an S5 atm?

Thanks for you help :)

Assuming the SIM is the same size, then yes you can use it in whatever handset can take that size (& supports the appropriate frequencies of course)

3 SIM sizes: Standard (largest size), Micro (most Androids), Nano (Apple).

Current Phone:
- Android: Samsung SM-G900F Galaxy S5 (XT)
- Win Phone 8: Samsung ATIV S (XT)

Current Tablet:

- Acer Iconia 7" Android Tablet

You just need to cut it or go to any Spark shops, they can swap the SIM for a new SIM.

might pay to wait until the S6 has been announced/released. You'll probably get a better deal then.

I did hear there's a new release coming soon - it's set to be announced very soon right?

The S6 is most likely to have a metal frame so no ability to change battery. Guessing it will be expensive too but wait until its announced and you should get some good deals. Check here for current pricing, Expert infotech and Gadgets online good places to deal with if in Auckland.

Why do I sometimes see that the phones only work on vodafone or 2degrees?
