Have you ever pressed the play store refund button for an app purchase?

I am new to the store and want to know more about this process because it will influence my purchasing habits.

Why and what happened?

Yes, it uninstalled the app and I got a refund on it.

Did it many times with media playing apps trying to find one that didnt suck at playing off a windows share.

That's good. Any time limitation?

I've done it many times.

If you don't like/want the app you simply hit the refund button in the Play store and it'll uninstall it and refund what you paid.

If you're paying by credit card you'll see the charge and then the refunded amount.

It couldn't be much simpler and is a good way to try apps out first if you're not sure about them.

You can't be refunded on the same app twice though. So if you buy it, refund it, then buy it again for whatever reason then you can't get a refund on that second purchase.

yes, used it a couple of times, is a great way to trial an app and see if it is actually what you are after, email confirmation soon after, the process seems pretty sound and reliable

The time limit is pretty short now. It used to be a few hours from memory, now its like 15 mins.

Actually as of (I think) September last year, it's now two hours.

Just been told 15 mins on a purchase I did for a 10c app - perhaps it varies with value?

There are at least three ways to do it so I did also wonder if it varies by device and/platform as things do these days.
