Needless to say Zopo should have released this phone with a working ROM or at least fixed half the niggly issues within the first 1 or 2 updates.....but they didn't.
After waiting over a year and putting up with the phone, Im glad to say the Kitkat ROM update released in December has really made this phone shine and fixed most if not all issues (ram use, cpu temp, dissapearing keyboard etc)
At $330NZ shipped I reckon it represents good value when compared to phones with equivalent and sometimes lower specs (Nexus 5, Galaxy S4 etc), for me the stand out features
- Beautiful 480 dpi 1080P display
- MTK6592 Octacore Processor
- 14.2 MP Camera that takes great photos and crisp 1080P video
- Stylish design (and slim at 7.9mm) + premium feel, especially with glass protector
- Responsive to use
- Cheap accessories ($5 cases, $8 glass screen protectors)
Sure it doesnt have NFC or LTE, but then again its a sub $300 phone.
Anyway if you're interested grab one for a steal and Kitkat it.
