Hi all,

Since I upgraded my phone to Lollipop a couple of weeks ago, it loses all wifi connections every time I reboot.

This is the Spark GM900-F variant.
It was rooted pre-lollipop upgrade, and it is rooted on Lollipop.
I have played around with turning on and off Android backup and restore settings.
I have wiped cache and dalvik cache.
I have factory reset twice now, but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Or am I just going to have to install a custom rom, or Spark's 4.4 rom from Samfirmware?

All help much appreciated, I have run out of ideas!

Finally managed to get to the bottom of this using File Explorer with root access.

Any saved wifi connections were getting wiped from root\data\misc\wifi\wpa_supplicant.conf each phone reboot.

I had to delete that file (really I just renamed it to .bak in case something went wrong).

Then I edited root\system\build.prop changing line ro.securestorage.support=true from true to false.

Reboot, entered wifi passwords, rebooted again and all is well in the world.

Edit: forgot to say that changing that will cause wifi passwords to be in plain text in the wpa_supplicant.conf file
