I had been looking for a light weight tablet to use when my disability prevents me using my Surface. I purchased a Samsung S2 8 inch. It is insanely light, responsive, great screen and I got a 32 micro SD card for no charge.

Touch wiz seems to be less intrusive and snappy.

All in all a light weight enjoyable device

That is good to know. Samsung make really awesome hardware for sure - its always their software that annoys me (personally). If they have improved touchwiz, that is a good sign. How is the battery life that you are getting? How is the standby battery time - samsung is quite notorious for having higher drain (more than 10% overnight) for standby.

geez mike you've gone back to the "darkside"  wink

Touchwiz is getting better to the point I haven't flashed a custom Rom which is a first for me, long way to go though

I have to agree Touchwiz is certainly better, I am still using it on this device and don't see a need yet to use a different launcher.

The Surface is still my go to device when traveling due to the keyboard, mouse support and USB port. I will be travelling a lot over the next few weeks so it will get a lot of use. I will be taking the S2 with me as well

From what I've heard about the terrible keyboard the surface has, it looks like you typed that sentence on it :)

I'm curious if the S2 allows multiple User Accounts?  Its available on my Tab S but not on the Tab A, Note 3 or 5.
