Now first off, if you want a nexus 6p then PLEASE use the geekzone deal that is here.

You have more options with the nexus 6p from the deal above and may support getting more deals later via geekzone.

As there is no deal for the nexus 5x then I will post how I was able to pre-order 1 yesterday with 20% off.

Currently WHS is running 20% phones, however doing a search on their website they seem to have hidden the nexus range from any kind of search.
Lucky I had it booked marked.

There website is showing a 32gig nexus 5x for $680.  Not available online so I had to go into the store yesterday to "pre order it" and then showed them the price from the site.  They then took a "deposit" at the $680 price and priced the phone at the same.
They only have 1 SKU in their system for a nexus 5x 32gig in black.  It's not in stock and currently no ETA (would expect early / mid november).

What is Warehouse Stationery like for getting devices on Launch day? Or would I be waiting another 3 weeks?

This is what they could not tell me.
It is in their systems but they could not give me an ETA at this point.  They have not been to bad in the past however

Nice work! Warehouse Stationery seem to be awesome at honouring all sort of deals, price matching and all. Super tempting at that price, but I think the 6p has already won me over.

You can see the 6P Graphite Model if you go up one on the product number, $960. No links allowed for this lurker.
Will be waiting to see what it's like in person before buying so will stick to the deal that Freitasm has sorted for us all.

Has anyone else managed to "pre-order" the phone at WHS?

This didn't work for me, I just tried to get this at the Penrose WHS store and they said they couldn't take pre-orders till tomorrow as it hasn't been entered as a proper SKU yet :(

I just did, they wouldn't take a deposit but they were able to put one on hold for me at the discounted price.

The guy at the store said I may not be able to get it if their head office says no later on.

I am guessing pre-orders from tomorrow are at the full price of $849?
