For some reason a week or 2 ago the phone just stopped being able to send sms messages - which is most frustrating. It sends and receives calls, receives texts, but just will not send. I have a Samsung SIII, modded with CM13. Using Vodafone carrier

Had a look at the SMSC settings on CM13. The SMSC number refreshed as 069146620006f0. I tried updating the SMSC number to +6421600600 but it didn't seem to like the "+".  I since have found that the SMSC number is in PDU format.

Not sure if the issue is with the phone, CM13, or maybe even the SIM card?

@sarcher Have you tried the same SIM card in another handset? That will tell you straight away if handset or Vodafone / SIM card issue

:)

Thanks Johnr, SIM card works on another handset which indicates phone  CM13 settings (or rogue app) might be the issue

I'm using CM13 on SIII too without any messaging issues (Vodafone).

If there's something you want me to check on my phone let me know, but everything is at defaults though.
