Hi, I have just upgraded from S5 to S7, and the only thing I am having trouble getting to work on the new device, is Semble. It either asks me to insert card after I've tapped, or simply comes up as failed. I am with ASB and it worked perfectly as tap and go until I changed phones :) Any help will be appreciated. TIA.

The Semble site has a 'device checker' where you can check if your handset is supported http://www.semble.co.nz/services/snapper - double check your phone and OS is compatible first.

I bought it from the 2degrees store. Have checked, both phone and Android version 6.0.1 are supported.

Have you rooted or flashed another rom? it could break Semble support.

No, I wouldn't know how, and wouldn't want to even if I did, as I suspect that would void any warranty.

Have you set up your NFC payment options and said to use the payment application on the SIM?

Yes, NFC is on. Otherwise the eftpos wouldn't be recognising it at all. I'm working with the team at Semble to try and narrow down where the issue is now. Thanks so much for responding.
