Has anyone experienced problems with links not displaying in emails.

I have a Nokia N1 running Lollipop 5.0.2 where the OEM email client or the Gmail app will not show links in emails sent using Plain Text. The exact same links work OK when sent in a HTML email.

Other email clients, such as Blue Mail, display the links in either Plain Text or HTML, my problem being Blue Mail doesn't play so nicely with the calendar.

What other third party email clients are there that will display links properly and also work with the calendar, or is there some way to get Gmail to display the links?
