I did search for this before posting, if I missed something, my sincere apologies:

Due to poor and diminishing motor control, I am looking for a screenshot app for Lollipop and up that allows one-button capture without root access. I can't master the  standard 2-button press on my Huawei Mediapad M2, and the reviews of screenshot apps on the Play Store are all over the place. I'm happy to buy an app if it's well recommended.

I don't use it anymore (moved to CM which has in built options), but for a while I had a really good one that gave you plenty of options. I _think_ it was this one:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icecoldapps.screenshotultimate

Free (ads) and paid options, so no harm in trying. If you don't have root, you can make it work but you need to fiddle a bit.

If you don't need to take fullscreen screenshots, then check out fooView on the Play Store. It has a floating bubble which you can drag around on the screen to capture that area - which saves you the hassle of saving a screenshot and opening it in an image editor and then cropping it. A handy feature it has is built-in OCR and search, so you can do a Google reverse-image search or a text-search. fooView also has a lot of single-touch / gesture based features like launching apps, gesture navigation, gesture shortcuts etc so it's worth checking out.

For full-screen screenshots - if you're on Android Marshmallow and above, you can use the built-in Now On-Tap feature. Simply press and hold the home button, then press the Share button, and you'll have an option to save it locally using your installed file manager or gallery apps, or upload it directly to your social network/Dropbox etc. This is really convenient as you don't need to drag down the notification bar, and if you want to share the image you can do it in just one step, without having to save/open the image first. :)

That's great, thanks - my V10 is on Marshmallow, I'll definitely try that. My Huawei Mediapad is only on Lollipop, so I'll try the app you suggested too. Thanks again.
