Hi. I just took my HTC One off charge and noticed it had frozen (time was 10AM yesterday) I managed to do a reset on it and it powered up fine but it felt like the screen was magnified. I then noticed that the screen was bulging out of the case of the phone.

Picture of side of phone.

The phone is probably just over 2 years old but I dont feel this is something that should happen to a phone. My iPhone 4 is still going strong 5+ years later. Is there any chance I can get it repaired under warranty or CGA. The phone was bought from Harvey Norman on a 2 degrees plan.

Yes there is a good chance. Personally I would stop using it pronto.

Yea I have turned it off. I will go in and see what they say tomorrow.

I just had a look and a new battery is about $15.

I hope you are using that exclusively with the recommended charger. FYI they may ask.
