I'm using a G925I purchased from 2degrees and I've been getting the dreaded "Camera Failed" and "EVT or Cal error. Please change your test device" errors.

Previously I fixed the error by updating/changing my kernel and a mix of clearing the cache. However, I'm believing that it might've been pure luck that it worked. So far I've re-flashed every possible thing (BL, Kernel, ROM, Modem) and my camera is still spitting out the error.

At this point I'm a little unsure if it's a hardware error or not. I'm hoping it isn't, as any repairs that happen with 2degrees go through an authorized Samsung repair center iirc, and I don't think they'd take too kindle to a phone with tripped knox.

I've also taken a look at my camera firmware versions and the rear camera firmware displays NULL where as the front camera (which works fine) displays its correct firmware versions and details.

Logcat logs for anyone interested: http://pastebin.com/aQSYSHiV

Hi HappilyInsane,

I feel for you really sad, um if it were me I think I would return the device back to factory so to sammobile and get the appropriate ROM. If nothing else youy reestablishing a baseline of a known good release for that device. If everything works you can smile then look to mod again if not there maybe an issue that is not software but a least being on the factory ROM even if you have tripped KNOX I would think should put you in a better position to talk to Samsung.
