Anybody jumping into one of these?

I'm currently enroute to Beijing where @sbiddle has a Lime Gold Xperia X Performance for me from Hong Kong.

They released the performance version somewhere? I gave up looking about 10 days ago.

I'm interested in the X Performance dual sim, it ticks all the boxes for me at this point: waterproof/dual sim/band 28 LTE

I'm waiting to hear whether will support dual 3G standby.

I'll verify when I get home on Friday but initial indications are good for dual 3G standby.

Looks like Sim 1 - LTE, 3G or 2G. Sim 2 - 3G or 2G.

My Z3 Dual menu made it obvious that only 1 could do 3G at a time, this looks very convincing of dual 3G.

Was about to push the button on a Oneplus 3 due to dual 3g standby, where can this be bought from? any indication on price?

They only just came available in Hong Kong last week so I would suggest someone there in person or at this stage eBay is your best bet. Keep an eye on this over the next few weeks too, price might drop once they get stock.

I have an XA coming from Clove in the UK.  Their stock arrived yesterday and they said it should be dispatched today.

Stoked to see all 3 carriers getting them!

I love the Z/X handsets, I hope Sony survives.

Just about to fly Auck Welly now then will get a Skinny Sim and test dual 3G standby.

Hmm, with the performance being around twice the price I'm not sure I'll go for it over a Oneplus 3 even if it does have band 28.

I just don't understand why the handsets have to be so expensive here. All are a massive premium over what you can buy them for off the shelf in Hong Kong.

A further discovery - either SIM slot can do LTE. Once you set one slot to WCDMA or less the other one can then be set to up to LTE.
