Has anyone found a file explorer app that works properly on Android TV (the Shield TV in particular) that has network support, and _isn't_ "ES File Explorer"?

Total Commander is usable bit a bit fiddly.

An old version of ES File Explorer is probably what you're after.

Not a fan of ES at all. I use Solid Explorer on my Android devices which seems to be quite similar to Xplore linked above. Unsure whether it's Android TV compatible or not though.

Edit: A reddit thread indicates it does work on Android TV, the last post says: "I've already sideloaded it onto my Shield. It works pretty well, though a mouse is needed"

I am user of ES File Explorer. Is there something I don't know that I should be worried about?

They were having issues with adware and leaving on a developer option that created some some popup.

ES file explorer works but I'd advise plugging mouse into TV to better use the app. Or using Sony remote control android app
