Hi,

Has anyone else purchased the Redmi Note 3 or has anyone had one of these working on 2Degrees in NZ?

I picked up one of these recently and everything was working well until we tried getting Mobile Data Connectivity on 2Degrees. All settings and APN details look to be correct but nothing no data will send/receive.

Thanks,

I've got one, the mediatek MT6795 version. Mine works fine with data. I'm also on 2degrees.

Thanks for the reply. This is the snapdragon version, I think i found a thread discussing an issue with sim slot 1.

Are you running the default APN settings?

Yes APN settings default as I've never touched it.

I did reflash the original MIUI firmware when I first got the phone to clear out the suspected malware that comes with 3rd party sellers firmware that they install.

Redmi note 3 is a great phone.

Both myself my wife, my friend and his wife have those. Two of these are mediatek and two of these are snapdragon.

I'm on spark, my wife is on skinny, and the friend's family is on 2 degrees. All these worked with data without changing any settings. Just inserted the sim and off we went.

This includes a mediatek unit on 2 degrees.
