Recommendations for sub US$80 phones? (i.e. roughly NZ$110) Based on my research I'm stuck between going with DOOGE X5 MAX Pro, Blackview A8 Max, or Cubot Note S? All have 2GB RAM which is an appealing fact over those with only 1GB of RAM. Leagoo M5 also looks interesting too due to its durable nature. (ditto a Oukitel K4000 Pro)

I'm trying to go ultra cheap here (because I have a nasty habit of losing my phones...), but don't need too much out of my phones, thus my sub US$80 budget.

Previously I was using a (half broken! Mic had died etc) Samsung S5, until last Friday night when it went missing....

txting/calling/Google Maps/Strava/Snapchat/Facebook/PDFs/notes/Chrome/alarm/etc are the main uses I have for my phone, so I don't have extremely high demands of it (most demanding use I've had of it recently was Pokemon Go! But stopped that).

Key features I'm looking for is at least 5 inch screen (wellll... maybe I could get away with 4.5", but no less!!!), half decent battery life and camera, but otherwise as much processing power grunt as I can get for my buck? (or rather... "cent"? ha)

btw, I'm on the NZ 2Degrees network, and I have skimmed over the other recent semi relevant threads in this forum, but none are really focused on such a low price point.

Think I need to spend less time researching all the many options... and just buy the damn thing!!

Likely will go with the Blackview A8 Max.

Maybe this will help. Includes AnTuTu benchmark.

Amazing really for a disposable phone category.

Why wouldn't you spend the same amount on a second hand phone and probably get something significantly better anyways.

I've got an Oukitel c3 here for testing - what a great phone for the price only 1gb ram but seems to perform pretty well also have a Lenovo k3 note it's a bit over your budget but nice and thin with large screen.
