If you want to have no interruptions except calls/SMS from say, family, then go into your device settings and look for Do Not Disturb settings.

If you just have no interest in receiving emails at all for a period of time, disable auto sync.

If you just permanently don't want to hear when you receive an email, go in to your email app and change notification tones. Set each one to silent.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

For Gmail, if you go into the settings and then tap on an email account, you've got options to change notifications for that account. You can turn them on/off completely, change the notification sound (or set it to "none"), and turn vibration on/off.

I imagine there are probably similar settings in the email app.
