Noticed a small scratch on the glass of my XZ today.

It's only a couple of mm long and is not in the way but it's deep enough to be felt clearly if you run a fingernail over it.

No idea what caused it - the only thing I can think of is that it inadvertently got dumped in a pocket with some keys, if keys are hard enough to cause that (I do not know if they are).

Annoyingly there are STILL no cases or screen protectors - or fast chargers - available for this phone from Sony NZ. Why they were not available at launch rather defies logic.

Bugger! YouTube videos etc show keys etc deliberately trying to scratch gorilla glass and not succeeding but it always happens.

I'm going to DHL Express these next week if you want to share shipping on them or similar.

Welcome to the world of Nexus 6P (in relation to chargers) - I've been trying to locate a decent charger that will charge at full rate for the 6P, and it's impossible to find a NZ/AU variant.

Not to mention, Google have stopped shipping their OEM one long ago from their website, so that really narrows down options... This whole USB C thing has been a right PITA, I reckon. It has so much potential, but no-one seems to really be jumping on the wagon in terms of charging accessories and producing quality cables.

Even the US/Euro only have very limited options for decent USB C, fully compliant and full-rate chargers/cables.

Sony have a Qualcomm 3.0 enabled charger that should be available, as well as two cases for the XZ. None of those things were available at launch (doh!) and none of them are even available now, 2 weeks later.

Yes, I might actually.

What I really want is that Sony cover that works without opening it somehow, but I'm terrified that I will inadvertently damage the phone somehow before they are available.
