Hi. I have a UMI plus Chinese smartphone, which for the price is pretty good. But for some reason I can't add a SIP call account as while call accounts is a setting in the phkne app (stock or otherwise I even side loaded version 3.01.08) and while thee work and allow the other features (caller id, nearby locations etc) there is still it ability to add a SIP account. Under calling account there is simply no option to add anything, I.e. not ... Etc.

I have read that WiFi calling (which seems to be the common name its referred to) is a network enabled feature based on your device. Is this true.

On my OnePlus one the SIP feature is present.

I have an HTC Desire 510, and on that, SIP accounts are in the settings menu in the phone app, under Internet Call Settings.

If you can't find it, I'd probably just install a SIP dialer app off the play store.
