Hi

I am looking for a free simple to use ap that I can issue an email invoice for and save it back to my main pc.

I run a coffee van businesses and some of my customers pay by cash but want a invoice/receipt.

At the moment i have some template invoice on my home desktop that i adjust and save for this purpose and email it to the client.

Would be easier if I could do this on my phone which is a samsung S5.

The key is ease of use.

Thanks

I am not aware of any apps, but a fillable pdf would be a simple solution. When you email them a copy you can save a copy from that email yourself.

You will need to keep a copy of the invoice too for accounting purposes. If you are just keeping tab of your sales by cash/cleared EFTPOS funds/cheque then you need to make sure you don't get these mixed up as you may double count sales.

Have you thought about a really simple point of sale? Many can run on phone now and they have mobile printers too. This one is really popular in Australia and can run some point of sale systems apparently (and have a built in receipt printer). Probably something similar here:

Its getting complex already :)

All I want is a way to produce a receipt to say paid in full that i can email to the client and send a copy to myself.

I am aware of my accounting obligations that i need to keep a copy.

Simplicity is the key, not interested in portable printers for a $5.00 coffee.

Why not just use a receipt book with carbon paper and give them the slip with their coffee then?

I used invoice2go quite a few years back - it worked well and is a free app from the Play store.

You don't need a full TAX INVOICE to claim supplies under $50, so just giving them a receipt will suffice.
