I am looking for a new Android phone, I currently got a Huawei Y300 which we got from Spark a about 4 - 5 years back.

I am looking at spending between $100 - $200 for a new phone.

What phone would you recommend getting?

I have been looking at Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini, but i am unsure.....

Any recommendations?? :-)

I've just bought my son a Huawei ShotX Honor 7i - Octa-core with 2GB of RAM (so it will run Pokemon Go smoothly) and am pleasantly surprised with it. I'm an iPhone girl, but it seems responsive and has a nice big screen and wasn't too expensive for a pre-teen's first phone. PB Tech are selling them on special at $228 for the 16GB model, and I popped another 16GB in it because no doubt he'll be taking pics and downloading a few games. It has a 360-degree flip-up 13mp camera that takes quite nice photos. Seems like you get more bang for buck than the ultra-cheap models.
