I missed the first bunch. But for the 2nd, To the point:

  1.  On the re-made 2nd batch of batteries the welds on the positive tabs internal to the battery exceeded 80mc. On charging these swelled and punched into the negative tabs opposite. In cases causing 'thermal run' KABOOM
  2.  Independant battery tests at all parts of the production stream (transport and each country involved) met independant third party safety tests
  3.  Samsung take responsibility for design spec passed to manufacturers requiring more power from smaller cells in part being the cause
  4.  New 8 point safety checks performed and x-ray/disassembly tests to be made
  5.  New battery design safety measure standards
  6.  New battery containment design to be put into future designs
  7.  New software implemented to perform charge therma/parameter checks in devices
